The Air Jordan 1 Low "University Blue" is a colorway of the retro basketball shoe that shows love to the North Carolina Tar Heels basketball team. The 鈥淯niversity Blue鈥?Jordan 1 Low is not affiliated with the University of North Carolina or its athletic department, but it nonetheless draws favorably from Michael Jordan鈥檚 alma mater鈥檚 familiar team colors. The shoe has University Blue leather on the perforated toe, collar, heel, and Swoosh. Contrasting black leather appears on the toe cap, forefoot, and mid-panel. A black 鈥淲ings鈥?logo can be seen on the heel and a black Jumpman is located on the tongue. Underfoot, the white rubber midsole is paired with a University Blue rubber outsole.
